Welcome to the website of the Egyptian Theatre Preservation Association ("ETPA," "we," "us," or "our"), a 501(c)(3) non-profit that operates the historic Egyptian Theatre at 229 S. Broadway, Coos Bay, Oregon. By using this website you agree to these Terms of Service. If you don't agree, please don't use the site.

Using this site

You may browse the site, view our schedule, and use its features for your own personal, non-commercial purposes. Please don't:

• use the site in any way that breaks the law or infringes someone's rights;
• attempt to disrupt, overload, probe, or gain unauthorized access to the site, our accounts, or the systems behind them;
• scrape, copy, or republish substantial portions of the site's content without our written permission;
• submit false information through our forms or impersonate anyone.

Tickets

Movie and event tickets are sold through our ticketing provider, Ready Theatre Systems (RTS). When you buy tickets you're purchasing through RTS's hosted system, and that purchase is subject to RTS's own terms and to any policies we post for a given event. Showtimes, films, prices, and availability can change; we'll do our best to keep the schedule accurate but can't guarantee it.

Donations & memberships

Donations and membership purchases are processed through Zeffy, a payment platform for non-profits, via forms embedded on our Donate and Join pages. Your payment is handled by Zeffy — we never receive or store your card details — and Zeffy issues your receipt. During checkout Zeffy may invite you to add an optional tip that supports Zeffy; that tip is separate from your gift to ETPA and is entirely optional. For questions about a donation, membership, or refund, contact us directly at the number or email below.

Rentals & other inquiries

Our rental and volunteer forms let you send us an inquiry by email. Submitting a form is a request only — it does not create a booking, reservation, or agreement. Nothing is confirmed until a member of our team responds and confirms it with you in writing.

Content & intellectual property

The text, graphics, logos, and design of this site are owned by ETPA or its licensors and are protected by copyright and trademark law. Movie posters, artwork, trailers, and related details are the property of their respective owners; some film information and images are provided by The Movie Database (TMDB) — this site uses the TMDB API but is not endorsed or certified by TMDB. Please don't reuse our content without permission.

Links & third-party services

The site links to and relies on services run by others — including RTS, Zeffy, TMDB, Eventbrite, Mailchimp, and social media platforms. We don't control those services and aren't responsible for their content, availability, or practices. Your use of them is governed by their own terms and privacy policies.

Lobby arcade games

The mini-games on this site are offered for fun, "as is." Leaderboard scores are community entertainment, not official records, and we may reset or remove them at any time.

Disclaimers

The site is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. We don't warrant that the site will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that information on it (including schedules and pricing) is complete or current.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, ETPA and its board, staff, and volunteers will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the site. Nothing in these terms limits any rights you have that cannot be limited under applicable law.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. When we do, we'll change the effective date above. Continuing to use the site after a change means you accept the updated terms.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Oregon, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. Any dispute relating to the site will be handled in the state or federal courts located in Coos County, Oregon.
